If you came out to the Tacos & Tequila 5K in Suwanee, you may have seen us posted up near the finish line — smiles on our faces, spine model in hand, and a prize wheel ready to spin. While the tacos (and tequila) brought the fun, we came with a mission: to connect with the community and help more people learn how chiropractic care can support their health and performance.
A Fun Way to Connect with the Community
As chiropractors, we’re always looking for ways to reach people where they are. At events like the Tacos & Tequila 5K, we don’t wait for people to walk into our office — we come to them.
The energy at this event was incredible. We met runners, walkers, families, and people of all ages who stopped by to ask questions, spin the prize wheel, or just say hello. Some were already familiar with chiropractic care and shared their own stories. Others were completely new and wanted to know if it was “just for back pain” or if it could help with other issues like headaches, tight muscles, or posture.
These conversations are what it’s all about. They help break down myths, build trust, and remind people that chiropractic isn’t about cracking bones — it’s about helping your body function better.
What We Brought to the Tacos and Tequila 5K
We didn’t come empty-handed. Here’s what we had at our booth:
- The Prize Wheel – This was easily the highlight. People lined up to spin for a chance to win percent-off discounts on their first and second visits, and it gave us the perfect opportunity to introduce them to our practice in a fun, low-pressure way.
- Posture Scans – Our posture scan station was another favorite. It gave people a quick look at how their head and shoulder alignment might be affecting their spine. The visual feedback often sparked real “aha!” moments — especially for those dealing with neck or shoulder discomfort.
- Educational Materials – We also had resources available about chiropractic care, how it supports spinal alignment and nervous system function, and bonus info on services like spinal decompression therapy and Pillowise custom pillows for better sleep support.
What We Learned from the Community
What makes events like this so meaningful is the chance to listen to the community at a local event. We heard from parents dealing with back pain from long hours in the carpool line, runners with lingering hip issues, and desk workers trying to solve their neck pain without relying on pain meds.
These conversations remind us that people want help — they just don’t always know where to start. Our goal at events like this is to make that first step feel easier, more personal, and more approachable.
Why It Matters
We don’t just show up to events like this to market — we show up to serve. When people see that we’re active in the community, showing up consistently, and genuinely willing to answer questions, it makes a lasting impression.
Chiropractic care isn’t just for people in pain — it’s for people who want to move better, live more comfortably, and take care of their bodies the same way they take care of their teeth, their nutrition, or their workouts.
We’ll Be Back
